Hang Kim received his PhD degree in University of Tokyo(Japan), 2009. He is currently an associate professor at Institute of Korean Studies, Yonsei University, Seoul Korea. He is one of editorial boards member of Changbi (Korea) which is one of the most eminent Journal for literature and critical theory in East Asia.
He is now teaching on Japanese contemporary culture, critical theory, as well as political thoughts in modern Europe. He translated Carl Schmitt's Political Theology and Giorgio Agamben's State of Exception into Korean. And he published many several books in both Korean and Japanese of modern Japanese intellectual and cultural history and critical theory.
