Yuko Hayashi, Ph.D. is a professor of Graduate School of Innovation and Technology Management at Yamaguchi University. Her first degree was a Bachelor in School of Medicine, Health Sciences at University of Tokyo, followed by a Master of Science in Technology and Policy Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Then she received her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Engineering from University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering in October 2006. Her research interests include innovation management, science and technology policy in a medical field.Her social contributions are an expert member of Gender Equality Promoting Liaison Committee in Cabinet Office, Director of Japan MOT (Management of Technology) Society, President of Special Olympics Nippon Yamaguchi, an Executive Director of Cultural and Sports Support Organization for the Grate East Japan Orphan and others.
